Brown Insulated Sippy Versus Tumbler: Tested For Spill-ProofSurprise!
We were curious to compare the Dr. Brown’s Milestones Insulated Sippy and Tumbler, and the results were more satisfying than we expected. The green 10 oz models, both BPA-free and designed for 12m+, offered impressive insulation. We tested their straw sippy and tumbler functionality during snack time, and neither cup performed better than the other—both were genuinely spill-proof. The sippy’s handles and straw made it easier for smaller hands to manage, while the tumbler’s wider opening felt ideal for packing snacks. Neither assisted much with temperature, as both remained lukewarm after a few hours, though the insulated version’s performance was slightly better. Interestingly, we found ourselves reaching for the tumbler for on-the-go use and the sippy at home. Ultimately, our test yielded no clear loser—just two versatile, reliable options.
